Made In Taiwan

April 7, 2007

I’ve just returned from a business trip to Taiwan where I was able to indulge in some photography.

The night shots were taken at Longshan Temple and Snake Alley Night Market in Taipei. They were shot hand-held with high ISO, no flash, wide aperture, no image stabilisation and the delirium tremens. The day time shots were taken in Lugang, a tourist town a short high-speed rail journey and two bus trips from Taipei. All shots were taken on my swanky new short-telephoto lens – the only lens I took on the trip.

Normal “words and pictures” service will resume shortly. If you don’t leave a comment someone’s gonna come after you…

I need to spend a solid day at Longsheng Temple next time when I go back. I was there in January and I only spent a half day there, shooting mostly people praying and the architecture. Absolutely love your street/people shots.
