There’s too much for me to say about this image. On one level, it’s about form versus function, on another it’s about individuality over herd mentality, but my main thought when confronted with this display was how the shoes I photographed in the Tiger Economy of Taipei was a whole world away from the shoes on sale in a down at heel, English seaside resort.
