I stumbled upon this arrangement in a wood in Norfolk. Now I’m not sure if this happened by chance or if someone placed them so, but I’m going to believe it was chance. The eggs are pushed out of the nest when the birds hatch and so I like to think that they were looking down on me when I took the picture.

On another happy note, I took a load of shots on a camping trip recently and to my horror they were spoilt my dust on the sensor. I mean loads of dust too. I applied 69 healing spots and was able to paste the healing spots onto all the photos but this took two evenings over the computer, which added up to more time than I spent taking the pictures. The guy in my local camera shop wasn’t too hopeful about me being able to clean the sensor myself and suggested that I should send the camera back to the manufacturer and they might have to replace the sensor. Sounded expensive, I feared I’d have to upgrade and I’ve only taken a quarter of the shots I was hoping to before considering an upgrade. Anyway, I took the plunge and have cleaned it myself using Eclipse solution and swabs. I now have only two spots left which will hopefully not be noticeable on most photos I take. Big relief.
